We’re grateful for appointment – Yilo Krobo citizens tell President Mahama

The Chiefs and people of the Yilo Krobo Traditional Area in the Eastern Region have expressed their appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Government for the honour done the traditional area for the appointment of its three sons and a daughter to serve in the government. 

They are Seth Terkper, Policy Advisor to the President; Christian Tetteh Yohuno, Inspector General of Police (IGP); Nathaniel Tetteh, Director of National Service Authority, Eastern Region, and Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, Eastern Regional Minister
The chiefs and people of the traditional area expressed their appreciation in a statement read and signed by one of the Divisional Chiefs, Nene Anyeenorgu Teye Agor IX.

It said “that was the first time in the history of our country that the Yilo Krobo Traditional Area had four major appointments in a particular government”, adding “your decision is unprecedented and does not only reflect a show of conviction and assurance your administration has in the ability and capability of our people but also a fulfilment of your promise to have an all-inclusive governance.’’
