Legendary Ghanaian musician, King Ayisoba, has expressed his desire to be considered for a diplomatic passport. The musician believes his international recognition and contributions to Ghanaian music warrant such an honour.
In an interview with broadcaster, Kafui Dey shared on the latter’s X page, the ‘I Want To See You My Father’ said his commitment and promotion of Ghanaian traditional songs globally qualifies him to earn the passport.
He emphasised that he’s not bothered by those who’ve received diplomatic passports, acknowledging they’ve all played a role in promoting Ghana worldwide in their respective fields.
“For me, the people who received the diplomatic passports, I cannot say they don’t deserve it. Because Rocky Dawuni has worked hard. It is not easy to be nominated for Grammy so he deserves it.
